Could Leakage In Urinary Bladder Be Due To UTI?

i just experienced a UTI for the first time ( i am 50) and it was cleared up but now I am experiencing urgency and leakage when I cough or sneeze... this has never happened to me. Is this just after affects of UTI and if so will it clear up? my doc checked my urine yesterday as i thought it might not be gone but test was negative for UTI
