Could Little Itchy Bumps On The Wrist Be Due To Dog S Bite?

My son got bit by our dog last sat. on his wrist. It barely broke the skin so I didn t take him to a dr. I washed it with soap and water. We rescued our dog on oct. 31 and he received the rabies vax in nov. Sunday morning when my son woke up he had 7 bumps on the side of his wrist. I thought he got spider bites or something in the night. Well this morning he woke up and has about that many more on the opposite side. And they itch and bother him. Now I m thinking they are hives. Could he be having a reaction from the dog bite & do I need to take him in to a dr? My son is 3.
