Could Lowering Of Testosterone Levels Be Due To Chewing Of Tobacco?

My friend chews tobacco and is in denial. Now 59, he has been chewing since his teens. He suffers asthma, coughs constantly has terrible digestion and now has been diagnosed to have very low testosterone. Is there evidence that chewing tobacco lowers testosterone?
