Could Macular Degeneration And Migraines Be Related?

I have macular degeneration . Lately I have been having what seems to be migraine headaches frequently. My eyes don t seem to be working together, vision is very blurry, making me nauseous . I have had shots in my eyes for three years to stop the leaking of the retina. Recently I experienced a flash of light after which the two eyes don t seem to coordinate. Do you believe the macular degeneration and the migraines are related?
