Could Memory Loss With High BP And Stent In Be Vascular Dementia?

my brother is 57 yrs old and is having memory loss. had heart attack in 2011 with a stint put in. also he is diabetic. hight blood presure. He had a MRI on on Tuesday his dr. got back with me saying that his brain is smaller the usual and that his blood vessel are also smaller then usual. And he was spending the test of to a Neurologiest. Also is wanting him to have a Nero memory test done. With his memory I was thinking it was vascular dementia. thanks Deb
