Could Meth Cause False Pregnancy Test?

Asking for a friend im worried about. She is a meth addict and thinks she may be pregnant but is scared to go to doctor to find out because of the drugs in her system. IF she takes a home pregnancy test could the meth cause her to have a false negative or possibly a false positive.
