Could My 12-day Prolonged Period Be Caused By My Complex Ovarian Cyst?

I have had my period for 12 days with no sign of it ending. It’s mild, not heavy and not light. Deep red, with some clots. No pain or other symptoms. Previous period ended a week before this one started. Previous period was a week early and lasted 10 days. I am 23 years old. I do have a “complex cyst” on my ovary, could this be the cause?
