Could My Generalized Anxiety Disorder Be Affecting My Memory, Causing Me To Completely Forget Chunks Of My Life?

I have some memory issues. There are chunks of my life I have no memory of. Not like I remember a little bit totally not at all. I watch movies and tv shows that my husband says I’ve seen before and I have no memory. I am dx with GAD could this interfere with my memory.
