Could My Heavy Periods And Symptoms Like Dizziness, Exhaustion, Brain Fog, And Hair Loss Indicate The Need For An Iron Infusion?

Hello! I suffer from heavy periods, my latest gp blood test was haemoglobin 129 and ferritin 17. I have been trying to push these numbers up since April 23. I had another heavier period this month and have since felt extremely awful. I am dizzy, exhausted, brain foggy, forgetful and struggle to articulate sometimes. I am 39. My gp is refusing another test, I have been supplementing but not feeling better. The blood was done on 28th Feb/ periods finished 20th March. I feel like my results are borderline low and would obviously get lower after such a bad period. Why can’t I be referred to someone to help me with this I am losing my hair too. I need an iron infusion most likely but apparently not low enough? It’s literally borderline and most likely under now. Is there any hope for me I am desperate!
