Could My Late, Watery, And Unusually Painful Period With Hip-area Pain Be A Sign Of Ectopic Pregnancy?

My period was 5 days late, so I thought I might be pregnant. Now my period has come but it is weirdly watery and more painful than usual, with pain right where my left leg joins my hip. I m worried it could be something to do with an ectopic pregnancy but I m not sure.
