Could My Memory Issues, Word-finding Difficulty, And Confusion Be Early Signs Of Dementia?

I have problem of remembering things, loss of word/name and get confused while conversing. To remember things I have to repeat/read several times. I am working so sometimes it becomes very difficult. My father had suffered from dementia so I fear that i too may suffer from the same at old age.
