Could My Previous Petogen Injection Still Prevent Pregnancy After Switching To Nordette And Having Unprotected Sex Within 5 Days?

Hi , I ve been on petogen for a year , haven t had any problems so far concerning pregnancy,when i had to go in for my next appointment I asked to be put on the pill, (Nordetta) , I had unprotected sex the first 5 days of consuming this tablet , which according to instructions I should have waited atleast 7 days for the pill to work . My question is : could the previous injection still have prevented pregnancy, as I never missed my appointment, I just changdd contraceptive methods.
