Could My Worsening Chest Palpitations And Recurring Chest Pain At Rest Be Heart-related While Having A History Of Smoking And Heavy Drinking?

Hi, im 30 years old. I have had heart palpitations since my early twenties, a fluttering in my chest that has ramped up intensely in the last couple years. Also, I have been getting regular pains in my chest, some come and go, and other pains will linger. The other day I got a pain so intense, and weird feeling, that I actually had to take a cold shower to calm down because it scared me. These pains happen when I am not exercising, and I am usually just resting at home when this happens. I have smoked cigarettes for 13 years and I drank heavily through my twenties.
