Could Numbness In Little And Ring Finger Be Due To Ulnar Nerve Entrapment?

I have had no feeling in my right pinky and ring finger and the outside of my hand for about 6 weeks. Although I can now bend the fingers more than I could when the symptoms started writing and gripping anything is still quite a challenge. My research leads me to believe its an Ulnar Nerve Entrapment. What do you think?
