Could Oozing Of Pus From The Surgical Scar Be Due To Blue Dye Injection?

I was given Blue Dye injections for a sentinel node biopsy, before my lumpectomy of 2 masses from my breast, 3 day after the surgery, 2 of the injection sites became black and started oozing pus, the site undermined the surgical sites and the odour was getting awful, i was having daily dressing with no improvement ,the pain was terrible, and after one month of trying to heal the area, i asked my Dr to do the mastectomy, now i can t stand the site of the scar, i was told i was allergic to the dye and it eroded my flesh, how could i have known i was allergic to the dye, i have no other medication allergies
