Could Pain Along With Severe Itching On Pubic Area Be Due To Fungal Infection?

I have red around my puplic area and a spot on the upper inside of one of my legs. About a month ago I went to my Ob Dr because I had some bumps in my puplic area. He said I had ingrown hair s from shaving and gave me some medicine to put on it. So I did then my puplic area started getting red. So I went back to him and told him I thought I might be having a allergic reaction to the cream. He didn t think so but didn t know why or what it was on my puplic area. So he gave me a antibiotic to take by mouth. So it started clearing up. Now I have not been shaving and the redness has come back and worse than before. I didn t call my Ob Dr cause he didn t know what it was the last time. So I have been trying to treat it myself with over the counter antibiotic cream and hydrocortisone cream. Oh and triamcinolone cream that he gave me 2 years ago that I keep up with new prescription for what he said I had was a spot of fungus that he thought I might have gotten from the tanning bed. I all used that some the last time when he gave me the antibiotic by mouth. So now nothing is helping and it is very painful and I can t stand to wear my underwear or pants. Can you help? I JUST PUT MY CARD INFORMATION IN AND DID NOT GET AND ANSWER WHAT HAPPEN?
