Could Pain And Discolored Anal Area And Tip Of Spine Post A Fall Indicate Cracked Bone?

Hello my husband has had some pain on his tailbone and anal area its red and purple but we thought it was a boal or something but it has no head he can't sit down or stay still on his butt. He fell on the stairs a few days ago and its gotten worse I think he cracked it so what can we do to help it without going to the doctor ?
