Could Pain At The Tip Of The Penis During Intercourse Be Related To The Catheter Used While Treating A Penile Fracture Previously?

Hi, my friend had a penile fracture resulting in a catheter. This was was in April. Since then all is okay, apart from pain in the tip of the penis whilst erect and has any pressure on the tip. So during intercourse but not not masturbastion. He thinks it maybe to do with the catheter. Any ideas? Thank you
