Could Pain In Lower Back Be Due To Problem In Kidneys?

I have pain in right kidney area in lower back, the right kidney is bigger than left as, left is size of end of your little finger, may have died when I was 2 with high fever. I have had MRI, some medications, urine tests, and nothing has been found wrong, the kidney area is very sore and seems at times to be under pressure, note , no stones were seen, I m at a loss at what to do to find what is causing this pain, any suggestions
