Could Pain In Testicles Be Due To Smoking Of Meth?

Hello there, My friend has been experiencing some severe testicular pain. Describing that they feel like they are about to burst. He has been smoking meth-amphetamine for about the last half year and I ve heard this can be the cause. I was hoping you could give me suggestions to relieve his pain ( clearly first step is to quit!) and also tell me why this could be happening? Thank you , A concerned friend
