Could Pain In The Rib And Breast Be Due To Pulmonary Embolism?

I m worried as I have had a pain across the bottom of my rib cage & under my left breast that radiates through to my back that is so painful I can t even sit against my back Could this be an pulemary embolism? I ve had this pain for nearly 3 years and now have to take controlled substances for pain control
