Could Persistent Swelling In Tonsils Be A Symptom Of STD?

Hi. Earlier this year I had strep B. Then quickly after tonsillitis then quickly after that a complication from having tonsillitis. This probably went on for a month. Ever since then, I have had 3 sore throats that tested negative for strep. My right tonsil has been swollen since I got strep b. So for about 2.5 months. I m worried about it. Could this be an std? My swollen tonsils doesn t hurt normal unless I get a sore throat. I have had oral sex with some people but they all said they didn t have stds. I have no fever at most, 99. Please help
