Could Puffiness In Eyes And Bleeding In Nose Be Due To Flu?

Hello. I was recently diagnosed with the flu and was told it needs to dun its course. I was instructed to take over the counter medications duch as Robitussin or Dayquil. What I am more concerned about is that my right I is red and puffy I think it may be pinkeye which I have never had before. I am also concerned because I am getting nosebleeds out of the right nostril as well. Could they be connected?
