Could Rashes On Forehead And Red Blotches On Chin Be Due To Hormonal Changes?

I had surgery in May and got a tumor removed and the lining of my uterus removed as well I am 49 and going thru menopause, for the last six months ihave had a rash on my forehead and chin red blotches then they turn dry and flacky red. went to a demo and she said it was dermatitis and gave me Medication that burned my skin.... could it be hormones??
