Could Rashes On The Nape And Bump On Forehead Of A Child Be Related?

My 8 yo daughter got a rash (small bumps covering over about 2" diameter) on the back of her neck this morning. It was red and hot and itchy. Tonight, she has developed a bump on her forehead about 1.5" diameter and 6-8mm high. It does not hurt and she is aware of absolutely no injury that could've caused it. I have been with her all day except for an hour - over which time the bump appeared. Any ideas? Could these 2 things be related? Allergic reaction?
