Could Recurring Infection Be Due To Shrunken Size Of Urinary Bladder?

my wife suffering from infection of urine bladder since 2 year and operation two time to enlarge the bladder as told that size of bladder was shrink and then put potassium in side of bladder two times but no use and taking continue medication but not good result
