Could Red, Swollen, Bruised Lump On Outer Thigh Be Tumor?

I have a lump on my outer thigh of my left leg. In the last two weeks it has gone from just a swollen bump like bruise to a two inch lump that s red swollen and sorta bruised looking in spots that is starting to get painful with size.. Could this be a Tumor..?
