Could Red Swollen Face And Neck Be The Side Effect Of Crestor?

My doctor started me on Crestor 10 MG about two months ago. Yesterday, I woke up to a very red, swollen face (eyes almost closed)and neck, and am wondering if this could be a side effect of the Crestor. I have had difficulty being short of breath ever since I started this medication. I called my doctor about this and was assured shortness of breath was not a side effect for Crestor. I have done further research and find that yes, it is a side effect, as well as swelling of the face. I am really confused . . .I don t know if I should call my doctor or not.
