Could Severe Abdominal Cramping Be Due To The High Vaginal Swab Test Procedure?

Hi there, I saw my doctor a few days ago for treatment of what I think is thrush. Im on my last day of treatment today. My doctor also took a high vaginal swab which was painful and now 2 days later I am having very bad cramping/abdominal pain. Is this related to the swab or thrush? Or something different?
