Could Severe Cramps Be Due To Restless Leg Syndrome?

I have bad foot cramps at night when I go to sat down in my chair. I ve had these for a while at different times. Some times they are in my legs. I have restless legs. I m on medicine at night for that but the cramps will start in my feet before the pill takes effect. My chair is a recliner and I usually have to get up and I try to keep stretching each foot to ease the pain and drawing. I also have two diffenert kinds of arthritis and I ve had two major back surgerys in the past 4 years. I was just wondering if this was coming from that or if I could do something for this to help.
