Could Severe Itching On Legs Be Due To Lichen Planus?

am 27 year old woman,5'4",65kgs weight and married....since past 6 months am having lots of itching on my legs...have been to a dermatologist in december 2010 and was diagnosed for having lichen planus...had been on medication but i felt i was gaining weight and hair on my face so i stopped taking medicines for past one month...suddenly from 1 week the itching has started again and i can see new lesions on my skin....i have a 2 year old son and am scared of touching him...can u help me plzz...am staying in chennai....am asthmatic from childhood and i use asthalin inhaler whenever i feel the need....
