Could Severe Pain In Abdomen And Testicles Be Hernia?

I believe I have a hernia, i have some abdominal pain with some severe testicular pain. I have noticed a small buldge on my right side and if im wearing jeans with a tight belt, i am pain free. Could this be a hernia? Are these dangerous? Pain has been present about 7 months, but now it takes about 45 minutes to get out of bed. I feel handicapped by whatever this is, and i have rapidly gained some weight. Food never sits right and i am always miserable.
