Could Severe Pain In Abdomen Be Due To Diverticulitis?

I find after drinking alcohol for a couple of nights I get a bad pain like being punch in right hand side above hip pain dose not travel any where and it starts to get better 2 days after stop drinking. I have been diagnosed with dyervertculites and rolling ahernya can that be what the problem is one of them. PLEASE CANCLE THIS REQUEST AND PLEASE DONT REPLY AT ALL I WILL GO VISIT MY G.P. THANK YOU
