Could Short Temperedness In A Person Be Due To Parnate?

Hi I have been on Parnate for one and a half weeks at a dose of 10mg. I suffer from bipolar2 and feel incredibly energised but very also angry. Is this the drug or my depression. I tried it two weeks ago for three days and as felt like a rage building inside me I stopped it. But my Psychiatrist wants me to try again and persevere. can Parnate do this to some people?
