Could Spotting Dark Brown To Blackish Blood For Two Months Be My Period After Stopping The Family Planning Injection?

Hi. I was on the family planning injection for three years. I stop using it then two months after i started spotting dark brown blackish blood. Could that be my period? It started off as a little bleeding then it turn to spotting. The spotting is on and off and it started from tuesday.
