Could Stabbing Pain In Left Side Of Body Be Related To Ovary Issues?

I have a localised pain on my lower left side that is making me feel quite unwell. When I move my left leg the pain is stabbing. I had a rqdical hysterectomy in June 2009 but my left ovary remained. Could this be an issue with my ovary? I am heading off to my doctor on Monday or should I do something sooner?
