Could Swelling In Testicles Be Due To Trich Infection?

We have studied as much as we could about trich infection. My boyfriend and I have been diagnosed with it. My boyfriend and I have been monogamous. He is 64 and I am 59. This situation is tearing us apart, still. He is blaming me and refuses to have anything to do with me. He has a swollen testicle and is to have an ultrasound next week to determine the cause. My problem is basically not understanding why he is treating me like I have the plaque and is refusing to see me or answer my calls. What should I do. I have tried to explain to him and given him literature regarding how that disease could like dormant in either one of us for years and suddenly flare up. I am taking my Flagyl. He is refusing to do anything about his, at this time.
