Could Swelling On The Bruised Shin Be Due To Fracture?

Hi My shin had bruised from an impact at soccer match, no blood on the injury site but it is swollen (just asking the tiny wound from the stud damage). Is it fractured? I can step on it but it hurts when i sleep i need to elevate it. Please let me know, Bedir.
