Could Swollen Lip, Rashes On Body With Swelling And Burning Indicate Lupus?

Hi I have been experiencing swelling in my lip,which started with my upper lip in September. Since that time. I have experienced rash break outs on arms legs and feet and inner thigh on my feet I experience burning with the break out and swelling, the break out seems to form in clusters, any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. What things should I have my doctor test for? I should mention that my mom had MS. However it is my understanding Ms is not heritatary. I have been looking at symptoms online and lupus seems to come up when I put in my symptoms.
