Could Taking Dexilant Cause Itchy Rashes All Over The Body?

I am 46, in good health. I have an itchy rash over entire body for over two weeks now. Started after I took dexilant for acid reflux, and lost voice immediately too and my eye swelled up, so I stopped it right away. Dr. gave 4 days of predisone which helped the itch, while I was taking it, but rash still going strong. I'm also very, very tired and feel worn down (2+ weeks of itching could do that). Nothing else new internal or external(such as detergents or lotions).
