Could The Broken Nose Be The Cause For Loss Of Hearing?

i saw an e.n.t.dr about 12yrs ago cause i noticed i was not hearing well out of my right ear.Now i have no hearing whats so ever in that ear.the dr i saw asked me if i ever had a broken nose,i told him no he said alot of times you are not aware that you have had one.so could that be the reason for total loss of hearing?
