Could The Bruising On Abdomen Be Due To Severe Cough?

ive been sick for the past 2 weeks and i had bronchitis and pneumonia in december. ive had a bad cough for 2 weeks and yesterday evening i found a bruise on my stomach. i was wondering if the bruise could be caused by the cough. i havent had any trauma to my stomch.
