Could The Delayed Periods Be Due To Progesterone Tablets?

i was on infertility treatment and had to wait 20 days after ovulation to test for pregnancy but when i checked today the home preg card was negative despite no periods. I am using progesterone tablets vaginally for the past 20 days.Why is my home pregnancy test negative, is it due to the progesterone tablets that my period is getting delayed??Please help!
