Could The Delayed Periods Be Due To Contraceptive Pills?

i used withdrawal method, my period was over a week late and the past few days iv had a tiny bit of brown discharge, and i thought it was my period starting so i started my first pack of pills, could i be pregnant or has my pills made my period go away??
