Could The Early And Heavy Menstruation Be Due To Morning After Pill?

A friend of mine took the morning after pill (Postinor 1) within 48 hours of contraceptive failure. There weren't any immediate side affects. However, she now has her period one week early and it is quite heavy. The pill was taken about three weeks ago. Should she be concerned because it is heavy/one week early? Thanks.
