Could The Flaking Skin Around The Nose Be Due To Mirena Coil?

Have had mirena coil fitted for nearly 2 years. Have not had period for just over one year, but since then have red, flaking skin around nose area. Doc said its seborrheic dermatitis and have shampoo prescribed but not really helping. I am sure it is as a result of the coil - could it be due to the hormones released by the mirina coil. Have had no skin complains before only since mirena stopped periods.
