Could The Lump On The Throat Be Due To Ingrowing Hair?

hi there, ill just get straight to it.. my ex girlfriend noticed a hair that was long on my neck where my adams apple is, she pulled it out with her teeth as she insisted... few months down the line, ive had ingrowing hairs etc, ive picked prodded etc it, now there is a hair growing out alright after i took a few ingrowing hair out, it still could be an ingrowing hair but as i feel it, its like a hard very small ball/ pimple / boil looking spot on my neck which to me my confidence has gone down due to this, i have resarched and bought many products, to which has no affect unless you can advise.. ive bought cleansers, exfliating glove things, honey, pure tea tree oil , which hazel etc.. still this small like 1-2mm pimple / boil still remains.. it in an awkwurd place like i say on my adams apple and easily spotted.. please could you help me get rid of this :(
