Could The Mirena Coil Be The Reason For Constant Itching In Groin?

Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted in August 08 and from about March 09 have had serious itching. I have been to the dermatologist since then and am still attending, they said I had HSuppurtave, uticaria and something that spells like impetigo but not impetigo lol. They gave me numerous creams, long term antiobiotics and bath/shower washes, nothing of which has worked. It is mostly based round my groin area, both inside and out. Could this be the coil?
