Could The Pain In Lower Back Be Due To Kidney Infection?

Hi, I have been having lower back pain that keeps me up at night. It started in my hip and now it is along the whole lower back, I am wondering if it could be a kidney infection as I have stage 4 kidney failure. I am on a lot of pain meds because of chronic pain in my knees, I had my 5th knee replacements on Dec. 1 st. The pain meds do not touch this pain.
