Could The Pain In My Left Back Abdomen Near The Kidney Be Due To Kidney Stones Again?

Hi, I am having pain in my left back abdomen, near my left kidney. I had been already diagnosed with Kidney stones once (one and a half years ago). I had severe pain for 5 minutes maximum and it went down as speedily as it started. It started after I went for urination and my urine is also colored (yellow). I took the painkiller but I wanted to confirm if I have the stones or if it was just gas and if I should just take the previous medication?
